President's Letter Curtis Green It is the time of year we at the Blackfoot Chamber of Commerce are looking forward to our annual fundraiser. This Month we will be kicking off our fundraiser for this year, it will be our second annual four wheeler raffle. It was a great success last year and we are looking forward to this year being even better. This year we will again raffle off an Eaton Four Wheeler but we ahve added two more prizes, a 42 inch flat screen TV, a Wii game system. We will be giving out more information about the raffle at our March lunch. Now for the real reason I am telling you this. The Chamber is funded mainly two wats, membership dues and fundraisers. For the Chamber to continue to functino well we need your support. We have a very strong membership that helps sustain the funding for us, but this is not enough, we depend on outside help also. Fundraising is our second form of funding. Without these extra dollars we could not function the way we are supposed to. These dollars help pay for such things as heat, phone, electricity, etc. and also wages for our fine staff. In these times it is more than ever imperative that we work together to help kep Blackfoot business as strong as possible. So when a Chamber member contacts you about our raffle, remember that it is for the good of all that we keep a strong Chamber to watch out for Blackfoot and Bingham County. It is money well spent, and you just might win a new Four Wheeler. Tickets will go on sale soon and the raffle wil take place on the last day of Blackfoot Pride Days.
